Fourth of July Weekend

Vaughn and I went sailing on the waters of Pineview last night, it was so much fun.
We purchased a two man raft and have put it to good use lately. Then we discovered a swing..which we broke unintentionally, so Vaughn had to fix the damage. We also had a delicious picnic at Huntsville Park beforehand, we love that park!

Then we played Bocce Ball and Vaughn spun me while we enjoyed the romantic sunset.



We went to see the fireworks and that was fun, except for the unfortunate overload of
country music.

Friday we went with Clint and Heather to Huntsville Park for a picnic and Bocce ball.
We have so much fun with those two!

Facinating Weekend

Saturday

I was busy with this all day
Whilst I was gone, Vaughn was studying homework and playing on his guitar in preps for the concert with Clint on July 11th.


Friday

we finally discovered the revolting smell coming from the downstairs facilities
it was this

• eight foot wood rod
• vacuum (see below)
  

a portion of the feathers, filth and twigs removed from the nesting abode



It was quite the scene. My handsome husband working hard, sweating in the summery sun using random objects to try and snatch the dead bird from deep within a ten foot vent.
Good job honey, you're so brave!

We just had to be done in time for the extravaganza below.

Ella was a big girl and she even got to stay this time, we played games, had treats, built a fort, watched a movie and had more treats... it was fun for all!

Thanks for being you, you're great! I always wanted an older and wiser sister-in-law. I definitely inherited one. You're sweet, kind and oh so good with words (you should have been a writer) every time I read your updates I feel like I'm reading something that should be in a magazine article and don't get me started on her amazing chef talents. This girl can bake like you wouldn't believe. Always something gourmet in Heidi's kitchen! We love you, happy birthday!

The Wig Man

This is why I love my husband. He's hilarious. He wears redneck wigs from the thrift store at really random times. And he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him.

We went down to St. George and planned for him to wear it when he met my family for the second time since our wedding. Sadly, we forgot to showcase the hideous thing a top his noggin amidst the joyous family reunion.
